Before Revealing The Real Facts, Bharada E's Attorney Asks For LPSK Protection

JAKARTA - Bharada E's attorney, Deolipa Yumara finally visited the Office of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) in East Jakarta, Monday, August 8.

Deolipa's arrival to LPSK was related to Bharada E's submission as a Justice Collaborator (JC) in the case of alleged premeditated murder against Brigadier J.

Bharada E's attorney, Deolipa Yumara was present with the team at the LPSK office.

"Yes (coming to LPSK for) two requests, witness protection, and JC. We came today to apply for witness and victim protection as well as become Justice Collaborators", said Deolipa Yumara to reporters, Monday, August 8.

Deolipa said, currently Bharada E's condition is very good. According to him, Bharada E has felt comfortable and will speak as it is shortly.

"Only for legal purposes, he asked us to apply for legal protection and he is willing to become JC", he explained.

The legal team also said that there were new facts that Bharada E dared to reveal regarding the alleged premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

But he can't reveal it because it's still under investigation

"There is new evidence or new witnesses who state that he is not the main perpetrator. However, this is still in the context of the Criminal Investigation Agency's investigation. So we will never talk about material substances because later it will interfere with the work of the National Police Headquarters", he said.

During the arrival of Bharada E's legal team at the LPSK Office, Deolipa brought a photocopy of the power of attorney and a letter of application for witness protection as Richard Eliezer (Bharada E). Then the second page was signed by Deolipa and Muhammad Boerhanuddin. 

"We hope to meet with the leadership at LPSK, we submit a letter of application for witness protection from Bharada E", he said.
