Alex explained that the fire was thought to have started in the kitchen downstairs. However, it has not been confirmed that the fire originated from gas cylinders or electric cables.
"When he woke up because he smelled smoke, it was estimated that the fire came from the downstairs kitchen, but we could not confirm whether the smoke came from a gas cylinder or an electric cable," he said.
The fire was finally extinguished after 30 minutes of the incident. A total of 10 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
"The fire was extinguished at 04.36. The loss cannot be interpreted yet," he concluded.
