JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Hanura Party Data Verification Team, Benny Rhamdani, has ensured that his party is 100 percent ready to register as a candidate for the 2024 General Election.

"As of today, the 20th day, at exactly 13.00 WIB, Hanura stated that 100 percent of the verification requirements have been met," said Benny at a press conference in Jakarta, Monday, August 1.

Benny said that Hanura would only register as election participants on August 8th.

"We will do the registration on August 8, 2022. 8-8-2022 is a good date according to the Hanura Party," said Benny.

Benny said that all requirements as a political party as a candidate for the 2024 General Election had been inputted into the KPU's Sipol. The team's data noted that Hanura had inputted 274 thousands of KTA (Membership Cards) into Sipol or 1/1000 of what the Indonesian KPU required.

In addition, 34 members of the DPD (Regional Leadership Council), 514 DPC (Branch Leadership Council), 6,122 sub-district administrators, party account numbers, domicile letters for all levels and ownership status of party management offices have been inputted.

Therefore, Benny emphasized, Hanura is in a state ready to be verified both administratively and factually.

As is known, the Indonesian KPU officially opens the registration of political parties participating in the general election as of August 1, 2022. The registration of political parties will last until August 14, 2022 and is open from 08.00 am to 16.00 pm every day.

After registering, the political party will be verified by the administration. Those who pass or meet the requirements will continue with factual verification.
