PKS Will Register Contestants For The 2024 Election On The First Day Of KPU Opening Stages

JAKARTA - PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi said the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) would register on the first day when the General Election Commission (KPU RI) opened registration.

"PKS is ready to take part in the verification process that will be carried out by the KPU and will immediately register as participants in the 2024 Election on the first day, when the registration process opens," Habib Aboe said in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, July 28.

Habib Aboe said that all levels of the PKS structure from the central, provincial, district/city, and sub-district levels had been preparing long ago.

Even according to Habib Aboe, PKS has carried out an internal verification process and all of them are ready to fulfill all registration requirements.

"The PKS DPP has carried out an internal verification process in all provinces throughout Indonesia and has even carried out administrative checks and verifications down to the sub-district level," he said.

Therefore, he continued, PKS can ensure that it fulfills all the requirements and is ready to become a participant in the 2024 General Election. Habib Aboe said PKS is also trying to target a significant vote gain in the upcoming 2024 General Election.

Habib Aboe explained the readiness of his political parties during the consolidation of the Verpol Team of the PKS DPP to prepare for registration for the 2024 General Election, which also invited KPU Commissioner Idham Holik.

Previously, RI KPU member Idham Holik reminded that at least the leaders of political parties could convey their plans to come and submit registration documents one day before the arrival of political party registrations.

"We request that we submit a notification letter of registration notification with the aim that we can arrange for us to serve your parents during the registration of political parties," he said.

With the notification, he said, there would be no concurrent schedules or other problems with piling up the schedule for receiving political party registrations.

"Because if this happens, we are worried that we will not be served properly when registering with us, but there may also be prejudices as to why 'we are being left behind, why is that first priority', which is what we don't want," he said.
