The Body Of The T-50i Pilot That Crashed In Blora Is Buried At The Iswahjudi Air Base Squadron

MAGETAN - The body of the pilot of the T-50i Golden Eagle plane who died in the crash of plane number TT 5009 in Nginggil Village, Blora Regency, Central Java, First Lieutenant Pnb Allan Safitra Indra Wahyudi, is buried at the 15th Air Squadron Iswahjudi Magetan, East Java.

The body of First Lieutenant Pnb Allan was buried in the hangar of his task force during his lifetime after being successfully evacuated from the crash site of the T-50i Golden Eagle fighter training plane in the form of hills and forests in Nginggil Village, Kradenan District, Blora.

"Evacuation of victims and plane wreckage is quite difficult. Because the terrain where the plane crashed cannot be reached by four-wheeled vehicles", said Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service (Kadispenau) Marsma TNI, Indan Gilang Buldansyah, when giving a press statement at the Iswahjudi Magetan air base as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 19.

According to him, after being buried in the 15th Air Squadron, it is planned that the body of First Lieutenant Pnb Allan will be flown to Jakarta at his family's house.

"After this, they will be flown to Jakarta, but for when to wait for a decision from the family", he said.

The Indonesian Air Force continued, Indan Gilang, deeply saddened by the accidental crash of the T-50i Golden Eagle Combat Training Plane. First Lieutenant Pnb Allan is also one of the best pilots of the Indonesian Air Force.

First Lieutenant Pnb Allan Safitra joined the Air Squadron 15 Wing III of the Iswahjudi Lanud Magetan in 2017. The pilot is an AAU graduate in 2015 and from the Indonesian Air Force Flight School in 2017.

During his service, First Lieutenant Pnb Allan had a total of 822 flight hours, with 623 flying hours them using the T-50i Golden Eagle aircraft. He left a wife named Dianka Fisrta who was married in August 2021.

First Lieutenant Pnb Allan Safitra Indra Wahyudi died on duty after a plane crash while undergoing night flight training on Monday, July 18, and crashed. The plane with the tail number TT-5009 he was flying made the last radio contact at 19.07 WIB and was finally reported to have crashed.

The Indonesian Air Force has also formed an Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee (PPKPU) team to investigate the causes of the T-50i Golden Eagle crash. The team is currently conducting an investigation aimed at preventing similar accidents from happening again.
