NasDem's Message To PDIP: Instead Of Being Sarcastic, It's Better To Explore Each Other

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party responded to the satire of the Secretary General of the PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto, who said that there was one political party (political party) whose electoral votes had dropped, and then tried to bring up other party cadres. In fact, nominate a person who should be neutral in politics.

This was conveyed by Hasto when providing input to PDIP cadres to remain obedient to the principles regarding the presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

The chairman of the NasDem DPP, Willy Aditya, then responded with PDIP exploring coalitions instead of insinuating each other. Perhaps, he said, NasDem and PDIP would fit together in the 2024 presidential election.

"If they're used to being teased, it doesn't matter, after all, that's their right. But instead of being sarcastic, yeah, it's better to explore each other, who knows if it fits. It's possible, right?" Willy told reporters on Monday, July 18.

Regarding the party's electoral decline, Willy said that NasDem remains optimistic and confident in increasing the electoral roll. He emphasized that his party continues to work hard to improve the electoral process.

"Even though the NasDem election was down in surveys, NasDem still has high self-confidence and dignity. In previous elections it was the same. In the NasDem survey it may be low, but that doesn't make NasDem discouraged and keep working. friends see for yourself," said Willy.

Willy retaliated against parties that did not nominate cadres even though they had potential. According to him, NasDem is better because it dares to reveal a presidential candidate, even though it is not internal.

"It is better like NasDem, honestly stating that A is worthy of being a presidential candidate, even though he is not a NasDem cadre himself. Rather than his own party not wanting to nominate a cadre who stands out and has potential. That is self-deception," he said.

The Deputy Head of Baleg explained that the three Bacapres results from the NasDem National Working Meeting were the aspirations of its cadres at the lowest level. He said that NasDem was only an alternative in the selection of public elected presidential candidates.

"After all, the presidential reading from NasDem is an aspiration from below. The candidates are considered to have potential. If it doesn't match candidate A, please choose candidate B. alternative choice," explained Willy.

"For what? So that meetings can occur, explore each other, communicate, and build mutual understanding. Because the platform promoted by NasDem is national politics as echoed in the National Working Meeting yesterday," he continued.

Willy considered that stating that the presidential candidate was ahead of other parties was a hallmark of NasDem. He emphasized that his party had never been long-winded or played backwards regarding the presidential candidate.

"Besides that, NasDem doesn't like to play late. Making choices in injury time. That's not NasDem's style. NasDem always states up front, doesn't beat around the bush and is trite. And that has been practiced in many regional elections," he concluded.
