Muhadjir emphasized that the health protocol applied to pilgrims who had just returned was not to quarantine, but to check the body temperatures of the pilgrims. If it is detected above 37 degrees Celsius, it will immediately be handled by officers.

On the same occasion, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya revealed that airports serving hajj debarkation are ready to accept the arrival of hajj pilgrims.

"Even though there is no quarantine, we together with the Port Health Office (KKP) will guard and provide the best service if there are pilgrims who experience problems or are sick," said the Minister of Transportation.

For information, the first batch will depart for the country from July 15, 2022 to July 30, 2022. Meanwhile, the return of the second batch of pilgrims will depart from July 30 to August 13, 2022.

In the first batch of returning pilgrims, there were seven groups of four debarkations, namely: Jakarta - Pondok Gede (780 pilgrims, 2 groups); Jakarta - Bekasi (818 congregations, 2 groups); Solo (714 congregations, 2 groups); and Padang (393 congregants, 1 group).
