Head Of RT Says CCTV In Duren Tiga Police Complex Is Monitored At Security Posts, Including In Front Of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's Shelter House

JAKARTA - The shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada E took place at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, at the Duren Tiga Police Complex, RT 05/01, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

The head of the local RT, Seno Sukarto, said that in his area there are CCTV surveillance cameras installed in every corner of the complex, including in front of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house.

"There is also CCTV (in front of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's house)," said Seno to VOI at his residence, Tuesday, July 12 afternoon.

He admitted that he did not know the condition of the CCTV surveillance camera in front of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's official residence. According to him, only local security officers can confirm CCTV at that point.

"I don't know that because the one who knows is the security guard," he said.

From the VOI search, the CCTV surveillance cameras contained in the Duren Tiga Police Complex can be monitored from inside the complex's security post. There are 6 CCTV screens with different points on the surveillance monitor screen.

"All of this (in the complex) has CCTV," said Seno.

Previously, it was reported that the South Jakarta Police were still investigating the shooting that occurred at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, at the Duren Tiga Police Complex, South Jakarta.

Based on the information from the police who went to the field, the CCTV at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's house was said to have been damaged since 2 weeks ago.

"It so happened that the CCTV was damaged approximately 2 weeks ago," said the Head of the South Jakarta Police, Kombes Pol. Budhi Herdi Susianto, at a press conference at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters, Tuesday, July 12.

The shooting that took place at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house occurred on Friday 8 July afternoon. As a result of this incident, Brigadier J, who was the driver of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife, died. Brigadier J was shot by Bharada E, who was the personal aide of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
