Not Only From Ministry Of Trade Officials, The AGO Also Checks The Director At The Ministry Of Social Affairs Regarding CPO Export Cases

JAKARTA - Investigators of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office examined the Director for Handling the Poor Region I of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs with the initials MRK as a witness related to the investigation into the alleged corruption case in granting export facilities for CPO derivatives for the period 2021-2022.

"MRK as the Director for Handling the Poor in Region I of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, was examined in relation to the investigation of cases of alleged corruption in the provision of export facilities for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and its derivatives from January 2021 to March 2022," said the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana in a written statement received in Jakarta, Monday, July 11 evening.

MRK refers to Mira Riyanti Kurniasih's statement. Apart from Mira, investigators also examined the President Director of PT Bina Karya Prima Fenika.

"The examination of witnesses is carried out to strengthen evidence and complete the filing in the case," said Ketut. Examination of Lutfi as a witness for the suspects, the Director-General of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, and Lin Che Wei.

Investigators have handed over the first phase of case files against five suspects on Wednesday 15 June. The five suspects, in this case, consist of one person from the government element and four others from the private sector.

The five suspects, namely Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana as Director General of Foreign Trade (Dirjen Daglu) of the Ministry of Trade. Four other people from the private sector, namely Master Parulian Tumanggor as Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, Senior Manager Corporate Affairs of PT Pelita Agung Agrindustri/Permata Hijau Group Stanley MA.
