The Robbery Of A Truck Driver Who Was Dumped In Bogor With His Accomplices Bound By The Police Is Confirmed To Be Just A Ruse

JAKARTA - The Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) of the Metro Jaya Police stated that the case of a truck robbery on the Cikupa Toll Road, Tangerang, whose driver was dumped in Bogor, on Tuesday (8/6) was engineered.

Head of Sub Directorate (Kasubdit) Resmob Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Handik Suzen revealed that the truck driver engineered the robbery case he experienced.

"We have investigated and processed the crime scene as well as witnesses' statements that the robbery did not exist or was engineered," Handik said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 6.

Handik said, based on the results of the examination, it was found that the driver with the initials MI (28) admitted that he had not been robbed.

MI conspires with his friends to fabricate the case as if it were a robbery. Police are still investigating the driver's motive for doing this.

Previously, a man with the initials MI (28) was found with his hands and feet tied and his eyes and mouth with tape in Bogor Regency (West Java). MI was then rescued by residents some time ago.

To residents, MI admitted to being robbed on the Cikupa Toll Road, Tangerang (Banten). The truck driver loaded with sugar was then tied up with his feet and hands and then thrown to Bogor.

This case has been reported to the Tangerang Metro Police. According to the Head of the Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat) Kompol Zamrul Aini, the case of the truck driver who was tied up by the robbers took place on Tuesday (8/6) at around 20.30 WIB at the Cikupa Toll Gate towards Jakarta.
