BANJARMASIN - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan predicts tidal flooding due to high tides until June 23, 2022.

"This happened because of high sea waves and rain," he said in Banjarmasin, Antara, Monday, June 20.

According to him, the tidal flood inundated almost all residential areas and roads on the banks of the river spread over five sub-districts, from a water level of 5 cm to 25 cm.

"The conditions are still safe, about 2-3 hours it will recede," he said.

From the observations of BPBD officers in the City of Banjarmasin, among the areas that experienced inundation during high tide during the day, namely, South Banjarmasin District on Jalan Kelayan Tengah, Kelayan Tengah Village with a water level of about 10-20 cm.

Furthermore, on Jalan Teluk Kelayan, Kelayan Barat Village with a water level of 5-10 cm, at Karya Bakti/Office of the Transportation Service, Kuin Cerucuk Village with a water level of 5-15 cm.

Furthermore, in the District of Central Banjarmasin on Jalan Japri Zamzam, Teluk Dalam Village with a water level of 5-10 cm. On Jalan Komplek DPR, South Belitung Village with a water level of 20 cm.

Then in East Banjarmasin on Jalan Banua Anyar, Banua Anyar Village with a water level of 5-10 cm.

In West Banjarmasin on Jalan Tunas Baru, South Belitung Village with a height of 20-25 cm, on Cendrawasih Street, South Belitung Village with a height of 5-10 cm.
