Masinton PDIP: Some Of Jokowi's Ministers Are Not Focusing On Work

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (PDI-P) Faction, Masinton Pasaribu, said that there were ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet who were no longer focused on work. Some of them are now more focused on improving their image ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.

In fact, Masinton said some ministers use their ministry to portray themselves as worthy of a presidential candidate rather than working to meet the needs of the community.

"We see that some ministers are no longer focused on their work", Masinton said in an online discussion agenda broadcast on YouTube, Saturday, June 11.

"Even if he works in his ministry, it is no longer in the context of strengthening, building a solid system or in the context of the ministry's performance, but rather on using infrastructure in institutions or ministries to polish themselves", he added.

Masinton did not specify which minister he named. However, the public will understand because the names of ministers who are no longer focused on work have often been discussed.

Not only that, but the ministers he is referring to also often show their desire to run in the 2024 presidential election and appear to use various methods.

Whereas on the other hand, the ministers who want to nominate themselves actually have no achievements, some even don't have parties. They only rely on large logistical resources.

"It's been clear in several discussions we've discussed. Some ministers want to run, right. It's hard to run by using all resources, sources of funds for activities that support his narcissism to run", he said with a smile.

"Even though there is no political party. Imagine if people don't have political parties, they dare to run for them. They don't have achievements by daring to run", he concluded.
