The Interpol Will Close Yellow Notice After Eril's Body Is Found

JAKARTA - The National Police said that Interpol would close the yellow notice of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz or Eril. This is because the body of the eldest son of the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, has been found.

"If it has been found later from NCB Interpol, Lyon center will inform and close the yellow notice," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Friday, June 10.

Then, all Interpol members will be automatically informed about the closing of the yellow notice. Thus, the search effort will be terminated.

"Delivered to all members (Interpol, ed) because Emil's body has been found," he said.

As for Eril's body, continued Dedi, the Swiss police will hand it over to the family. The plan is for the handover to take place at the Indonesian Embassy in Switzerland.

"Later on, the bodies will also be handed over to the family at the Indonesian Embassy by the local police," said Dedi.

On the previous occasion, the Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland Muliaman D. Hadad accompanied by Ridwan Kamil's family, Elpi Nazmuzaman conveyed that the body of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz, son of West Java Governor Ridwan, had been found.

"Yesterday, the police from the canton of Bern met us at the Indonesian Embassy with his family to convey initial information, the discovery of Eril's suspected body at 06.50 a.m. Swiss time or around 11.50 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). According to the procedure, forensics directly identified and traced DNA," he said in a virtual press statement Thursday, 9. June.

"On Thursday, June 9, Swiss time, the police confirmed that the DNA test result of the body found was that of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz," he said.

"According to legal procedures in Switzerland, the police have taken care of all the documents for handing over the body from the police to the family. Two hours ago, the local court issued a permit to receive Eril's body."

Ambassador Muliaman added that the Indonesian Embassy in Bern ensured that all of Eril's rights as a Muslim were fulfilled according to Islamic law. The Indonesian Embassy will continue to assist until the repatriation process to the country.
