JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk carries out periodic reconstruction work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road in order to improve the safety and comfort of road users as well as the company's efforts to improve minimum service standards.

Operation and Maintenance Department Head Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division (JTTRD) Nouval M Rizky in Bekasi, Saturday, said there are two points of road reconstruction that will begin work on Saturday, June 4.

The first point of the rigid pavement reconstruction work is at Kilometer (KM) 35+955 to KM 36+185 lane 1 in the direction of Cikampek with a handling length of 182 meters.

"Work at this point will start today at 10.00 western Indonesia time until Friday, June 10 at 15.00 western Indonesia time," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

Meanwhile, the second point of rigid pavement reconstruction work is at KM 26+491.75 to KM 26+341.75 outer shoulder and lane 1 lane towards Jakarta with a handling length of 150 meters starting Monday, June 6, 10:00 western Indonesia time until Sunday, June 16, at 06.00 western Indonesia time.

"There will be no closures due to this work. The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Jakarta and Cikampek are still operating normally," he said.

Jasa Marga has prepared risk mitigation, including diverting the affected traffic flow before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing counter-trafficking schemes in case of heavy vehicle traffic conditions, and coordinating with related parties.
