West Kalimantan Police Intervened To Investigate A Hole Resembling A Shot In The Glass Of A Damri Bus

PONTIANAK - The West Kalimantan Police dispatched personnel to investigate the broken glass of the Damri Bus as it passed the Trans Kalimantan Road, precisely in Central Java Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency, Tuesday, May 24 in the morning.

"We immediately went to the scene to collect data for further investigation," said Head of Public Relations of the West Kalimantan Police, Kombes Jansen A. Panjaitan, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, May 24.

Damri Bus Driver Arief Setio Utomo said the incident occurred at around 02.30 WIB when the bus entered a left bend on the Trans Kalimantan Road section in Central Java Village at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour. At that time Arief heard a loud crash on the right side of the bus.

Shocked, he stopped the Damri Bus with the police number KB 7681 S and immediately checked the bus he was taking to make sure what had happened.

"After I checked, it turned out that the bus window on the right was broken and there was a hole the size of a marble," he said.

The Damri Bus driver could not confirm whether the broken glass of the bus was due to the impact of a bullet or other things. But he made sure that all the passengers who were full on the bus he was carrying were not injured as a result of the collision.

"All the passengers that I brought from Sintang to Pontianak are safe. For this incident, I have reported it to the Ambawang Police," he said.
