NAGAN RAYA - The Aceh High Prosecutor's Office of Arresting Fugitives (Tabur) together with the Sowing Team of the Nagan Raya District Attorney's Office, Aceh, have arrested convicts in the case of forest destruction in Nagan Raya Regency.

Heru said that based on the Meulaboh District Court Decision Number: 18/Pid. Sus/2017/PN. Mbo on March 13, 2017 the defendant Edi Saputra was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 1 (one) month in prison.

After the verdict by the panel of judges, said Heru, the convict Edi Saputra was summoned to undergo execution in accordance with the judge's decision.

Then the Sowing Team of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office and the Nagan Raya District Attorney's Office learned of the whereabouts of the convict Edi Saputra when the perpetrator returned to his home, in Ie Mirah Hamlet, Ujung Lamie Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency.

After the arrests were made, the convicts were then brought to the Nagan Raya District Attorney's Office for administrative processes.

"The convict has been taken to the Meulaboh Class II B Correctional Institution to implement the Meulaboh District Court's decision which has permanent legal force," he said.
