JAKARTA - The Public Relations Officer of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency revealed the reasons for trucks to dispose of human waste or feces carelessly, such as the incident that was revealed in East Jakarta some time ago.

Yogi said that the transport truck should have disposed of the waste to the domestic wastewater treatment plant owned by PD Pal Jaya which was spread over a number of locations by paying a retribution.

"They should have disposed of them to a domestic wastewater treatment plant, there is a western area in Duri Kosambi, if the east is in Pulogebang. They should pay a levy there, the waste will be managed later," Yogi said when contacted, Thursday, May 19.

However, there are still rogue waste trucks that refuse to take the waste to the installation site on the grounds that they don't want to spend money, so they don't want to be bothered.

"Because they don't want to pay, don't want to lose, don't want to be bothered, they end up throwing waste carelessly like that. He pretended to move aside, even though the hose was lowered into the sewer," he said.

Therefore, Yogi said that his party often supervises the activities of trucks transporting waste to the disposal site. Bearing in mind, unscrupulous truck officers who dispose of waste carelessly have often happened.

"We carry out surveillance in locations that are often used as dumping grounds for illegal waste. We often catch them at the points we identify, usually in the DI Panjaitan area, behind the East Jakarta Walkot office, then there are several places that we identify," he explained. .

As previously reported, a yellow truck carrying human waste is known to dump fecal waste into a water channel on the side of Jalan Ahmad Yani, Bypass, Matraman District, East Jakarta.

The DKI Jakarta Environment Agency finally gave sanctions in the form of a fine of Rp. 500 thousand to the owner of the truck transporting human waste.
