JAKARTA - The Senen Police are still analyzing CCTV footage that recorded a robbery using sharp weapons at Alfamart Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

"We are analyzing the CCTV footage, maybe someone knows the perpetrator. Two CCTV units were confiscated and checked," said Senen Police Chief Kompol Ari Susanto when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, May 18.

From the CCTV footage, the perpetrator was seen wearing a face covering and helmet. Until now, the Senen Police are still asking for information from residents around Alfamart where the incident occurred.

"According to information from residents, the perpetrator is one person. But residents do not recognize the perpetrator," he said.

In addition to checking the residents around the location, the police are also still digging up information about two Alfamart employees who were victims of confinement.

"(TKP results) Nothing was damaged, when the shop was about to close, the perpetrators broke into them. The perpetrators immediately closed the shop door (from inside). The perpetrators are still being chased," said Kompol Ari.

Meanwhile, according to the victim's initials P, the robbery incident occurred at around 22.00 WIB when the mini market was about to close.

"It happened at 10 pm when it was about to close," he said.

The robbery, said P, lasted about 30 minutes. P also admitted that the perpetrator tied his hands and he did not suffer any injuries because the perpetrator only tied himself and one other cashier.

"Yes, I just tied my hands. The perpetrator took the money. There were no injuries because we didn't fight back either, we were already scared," he said.

Previously reported, the robbery at Alfamart occurred on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta. Two female employees were tied up by the perpetrator, who was carrying a sharp weapon. The perpetrators managed to steal Rp17 million from an Alfamart.
