Long Holiday, Passengers At Soetta Airport Increase

TANGERANG - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) noted that passengers at Soekarno Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, again experienced an increase when entering the long holiday weekend to welcome Vesak Day, Monday, May 16.

Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal AP II Soekarno-Hatta Airport M Holik Muardi said on Saturday, May 14, there were 132,676 passengers at the airport, both arriving and departing.

"For departure, there were 64,607 passengers with 428 flights and 68,069 passengers for arrival with 433 aircraft movements," he said as quoted by Antara.

He said that in Terminal I, the number of departures was 10,694 passengers with 78 flights, of which the Super Air Jet airline consisted of 48 flights with a total of 7,355 passengers.

Then, Airfast has two flights with 129 passengers, Air Asia has 17 flights with 1,871 passengers, Sriwijaya Air has six flights with 876 passengers, and NAM Air has five flights with 463 passengers.

"For the arrival of the five airlines, there are 78 flights with 11,713 passengers," he said.

Meanwhile, at Terminal II, continued Holik, the number of departures for Lion Air and Batik airlines was 120 flights with passengers reaching 30,027 people.

"Arrivals at Terminal II both domestically and internationally, there are 430 flights with 64,108 passengers," he said.

Meanwhile, in Terminal III, there are PT Garuda Indonesia groups such as Pelita Air, domestic and international Citilink, the number of departures is 140 flights with 23,886 passengers.

"The arrivals reached 135 flights with 22,275 passengers, both domestic and international. So, indeed, the weekend holiday period after the return flow of Eid is still crowded," he said.
