It Turns Out, The Perpetrators Of The Truck Kernet Begal In Cilincing Are Still Teenagers, 19 Years Old And Dropped Out Of School

JAKARTA - Police arrested one of the six perpetrators suspected of committing a robbery at the Red Light under the Kebon Baru Toll Road, Cilincing, North Jakarta. Known to have the initials DN, a 19-year-old teenager, dropped out of school.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, AKP Alex Chandra, said the perpetrator was arrested in the vicinity of the crime scene (TKP), Wednesday May 11, at 05.00 WIB. He is allegedly still looking for other targets to become victims.

It is known that the robbery incident occurred on Wednesday, May 11, at 02.00 WIB. The victim is a kenek, Agus and the driver, Edi.

"We are gathering witnesses pointing to the perpetrator. Thank God we have arrested one person," Alex said when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, May 11.

"(The perpetrator) was arrested less than 24 hours, he was arrested at the TKP, he is still in action, he is still playing around," he continued.

Now the perpetrator is being developed by Cilincing Police investigators to arrest other perpetrators in the stabbing incident.

"We have found a sharp weapon, a sickle type, this is still being investigated first to other perpetrators, this is still under investigation," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that a gas cylinder truck driver named Agus was suspected of being the victim of a robbery in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta. In the video received, the truck driver's body can be seen lying on the road covered in blood, occasionally he struggles because he is satisfied.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Cilincing, AKP Alex Chandra, said that the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 12, at 02.00 WIB.

Alex explained that the victim named Edi that night brought an open truck carrying 3 Kilograms of gas, and drove from Cawang to Cilincing, North Jakarta.

However, while crossing a red light under the Kebon Baru toll road, suddenly six youths attacked his vehicle and took his two gas cylinders.

"So the victim brought gas from Cakung to Cilincing. As soon as the red light came to a stop, 6 of them (the perpetrators) entered. Two were up and 4 were downstairs," said Alex when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, May 11.

"(Then) this Kernet went down. When he got down, his bag was even taken. Because he was defending his bag, finally the Kernet was attacked with a sickle by the perpetrators below, so while the perpetrators above continued to take gas," he continued.

As a result of the incident, Agus suffered lacerations to his stomach and left arm, after being stabbed by the perpetrator with a sharp knife. Now the victim has been rushed to the Kebantrnan Hospital, North Jakarta.

"The wound was torn in the left arm and stomach. (Now) the victim was taken to the hospital, Kebantrnan Hospital," he said.
