DKI ASN Not WFH After Eid, Employees Still Enter 75 Percent During PPKM Level 2

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Maria Qibtya said DKI Jakarta ASN did not implement work from home (WFH) after the Eid holiday starting today.

As is known, the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo suggested implementing a work from home or WFH system for ASN to unravel the backflow congestion for Lebaran 2022.

Maria revealed that the DKI Provincial Government will continue to implement a work system according to the Circular Letter of the DKI Regional Secretary Number 10 of 2022.

"For DKI, it is still guided by Circular Letter Sekda Number 10 of 2022 with the implementation according to the PPKM level," Maria said in a short message to VOI, Monday, May 9.

In the Circular Letter, government service offices in the PPKM Level 2 period currently apply a maximum number of employees working in the office of 75 percent and 25 percent working at home.

The Circular Letter also states that if there are important and urgent reasons, so that it is necessary to have an employee in the office, the head of the regional apparatus or bureau can determine the minimum number of employees present at the office while taking into account the capacity limit for the number of employees.

Then, Maria mentioned that there were a number of DKI ASNs who had applied for leave after the Idul Fitri holiday for various reasons, including still in their hometowns and had not yet returned home.

"There are ASN who have applied for leave, but only a few. For the exact number we can only know from the withdrawal of attendance because giving leave is the authority of the head of regional apparatus organizations," he said.

Previously, Tjahjo advised all government agencies to arrange work from home schedules (WFH) for all state civil servants (ASN) for a week.

"I agree with the opinion of the National Police Chief that government agencies implement the WFH policy. All PPKs (Employee Guidance Officers) are expected to regulate the distribution of schedules so that government administration and services to the community continue to run," said Tjahjo.

The implementation of the WFH, he continued, would not interfere with administrative matters and other government services, because now there has been the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) which allows ASN to work flexibly by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT).

In addition, added Tjahjo, the application of WFH for a week after the 2022 Eid leave can also be applied as an effort to self-isolate (isoman) for ASN after meeting their families from their hometowns.

"WFH is also an opportunity for isomans to prevent additional COVID-19 cases," he said.
