Until D-2, Kalideres Terminal Departs 10,349 Passengers

JAKARTA - Head of Jakarta Kalideres Terminal, Revi Zulkarnain, said that Kalideres Terminal dispatched 10,349 passengers from D-7 or Monday 25 April to D-2 or Saturday 30 April morning with 806 regular buses and 48 assistance buses.

"The latest data on D-2 or Saturday, April 30 at 08.00 WIB, the departing passengers were 302 people with 30 buses and the majority of their destinations were Central Java. Thus, the number of passengers who departed from D-7 until this morning reached 10,349", Revi said to Antara in Jakarta, Saturday, April 30.

From Antara's observation, prospective travelers continue to arrive at Kalideres Terminal to return to their hometowns.

However, all passengers occupy the waiting room that has been provided by the terminal manager, so there is no visible accumulation of passengers or ticket queues snaking around the terminal environment.

According to Revi, most bus companies have sold bus tickets online a few days before the start of the homecoming flow.

"Most of the online tickets have run out, especially for Padang and Central Java", said Revi as quoted by Antara.

According to him, online tickets for departures from April 26, 2022, to April 30, 2022, are mostly sold out.

However, the PO still sells tickets at the terminal to be able to transport passengers using the assistance bus, so that people who come directly to the terminal on the day of departure can still be served.

It is known that the peak of the homecoming flow at Kalideres Terminal, West Jakarta, occurred on D-3 or Friday, April 29 by sending 4,172 passengers using 253 buses plus 39 additional buses.

"The peak of the homecoming flow is at Kalideres Terminal from the temporary data, Friday, April 29, 2022", said Revi.

Of all these departures, the majority of the destinations for buses departing are Central Java and East Java.
