SAMARINDA - Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan Province Hadi Mulyadi reminded people who will be going home for Idul Fitri this year, to continue to increase vigilance when traveling home by always being disciplined in implementing health protocols (prokes).

"The government has given leeway to the community to go home for Eid, but still obey and be disciplined in implementing health protocols, at least wearing masks. Because with masks we and others can avoid the transmission of COVID-19, which is still happening," Hadi Mulyadi said in an official statement received in Samarinda, reported by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

Hadi Mulyadi asked the public to always be aware of the potential for transmission of the Corona virus, even though the government provided easing for the 2022 Eid homecoming.

"We all must remain vigilant, and must not be careless when the daily cases of COVID-19 continue to decline, with the implementation of the prokes, we can prevent a spike in cases, which can happen if we are careless and negligent," he said. Hadi Mulyadi prays for the people who are going home. Eid can run smoothly and safely, and return to gathering and stay in touch with family in their hometown.
