CIREBON - The Cirebon City Police, West Java, destroyed 20,938 bottles of liquor from various brands and 41,032 pills of illegal drugs in order to create conditions ahead of Lebaran 2022.

"This time we destroyed liquor as well as illegal drugs or pharmaceutical preparations without a permit which were the result of community disease operations," said Cirebon City Police Chief AKBP Fahri Siregar in Cirebon, Antara, Tuesday, April 26.

Fahri said that the destruction of the evidence after all had legal force, and efforts to create conditions before Eid. The details of the evidence destroyed were 20,938 bottles of various brands of liquor and also 41,032 pills of pharmaceutical preparations without a permit.

Fahri ensured that it would not stop here, but that his party would continue to carry out operations on community diseases which were already very troubling.

"We confiscated liquor and illegal drugs from various groups which were found in several places," he said.

In addition to confiscating thousands of bottles of liquor, he said, during the operation for public illness, his party also secured dozens of thugs who had been troubling residents.

In fact, continued Fahri, there were some thugs who were examined more deeply, and some were only given coaching. "It was not only liquor that we confiscated, we also arrested several thugs during this Ramadan," he said.
