JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan accompanied President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to review the Formula E circuit in the Ancol area, North Jakarta.

"We hope that the circuit, which is almost complete, can be completed perfectly, be ready to host international events, and bring a good name to the country of Indonesia and the city of Jakarta", said Anies in Ancol, Monday, April 25.

Anies said that currently the paving of the track has been completed. Then, currently, the organizers are installing paddock, grandstand and stands, concrete fences, and other facilities for guests and spectators.

"Later, on top of the concrete, there will be a fence to protect it, that's all that will be done, as well as the preparation for guests to use the mall, next door. But in general, the circuit is 100 percent", said Anies.

It is known, that the shape of the Formula E track is said to be similar to a lumping horse. Then, the location of the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit has 18 bends, 600 meters of straight track, clockwise direction, and 2.4 kilometers of track length.

After completion of construction, the circuit will be reviewed and tested by FEO as the license holder of Formula E. Finally, Formula E will officially be held in Ancol on June 4, 2022.

Tickets for the Formula E spectators have not yet been sold. In the plan, tickets are sold after the installation of the stands with prices ranging from IDR 350 thousand to millions of rupiah.
