8 People Recovered, COVID-19 Patients In Palangka Raya Only 45 People Left

Palangka Raya - There are only 45 COVID-19 patients in Palangka Raya. After the last eight people were declared cured of exposure to the corona virus.

"Until yesterday there were eight patients who had recovered, so that currently only 45 people are undergoing treatment for exposure to COVID-19," said Palangka Raya Mayor Fairid Naparin, Friday, April 22.

Until yesterday in Palangka Raya, it was recorded that from a total of 17,711 COVID-19 patients, 17,128 people had recovered. This means that the recovery rate of our citizens from the corona virus has reached 96.71 percent.

Even though the recovery rate is high, the public is still asked to be vigilant about the spread of COVID-19. In addition, you must always obey the existing rules by implementing strict health protocols.

Moreover, the Palangka Raya City COVID-19 Handling Task Force also recorded that 538 corona patients had died.

In order to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19, the Palangka Raya City Government, through the task force team, continues to make various efforts ranging from socialization, early detection, security to case handling.

What's more, some cases were new infections and others were close contact or exposure from a close family member.

"Not to mention that now we have entered the month of Ramadan and continued Eid al-Fitr. Let's make sure in the month we look forward to every year it is carried out safely, comfortably and with maintained health conditions," he said.

The government and various related parties are also intensifying vaccinations as an effort to increase the body's resistance to exposure to the virus.

His party will also enforce regulations for implementing health protocols strictly. Any party found to have committed a violation will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.

On the other hand, Fairid asked the ranks of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the local government to remain productive during Ramadan 1443 Hijri.

He said that Ramadan should be made State Civil Apparatus (ASN) more enthusiastic in working and serving. Because, according to him, this yearly moment that Muslims look forward to contains a lot of goodness, so it must be maximized.
