GARUT - The Provincial Government of West Java (West Java) has prepared a complaint post for workers who do not receive holiday allowances (THR) from their company and then they will follow up on reasons for not fulfilling the company's obligations.

"We will also set up a complaint post because we do not rule out the possibility of a rogue company," said Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum in Garut Regency, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 21.

He said the West Java Provincial Government was trying to encourage all companies to pay THR obligations to workers according to the rules set by the government.

The company also, he said, is not allowed to make installments according to the rules, as happened last year, for that the company now has to prepare its obligations.

"The maximum THR is paid on the 7th of Eid. There will be consequences for companies that do not pay the THR according to the stipulated provisions," he said.

He appealed to workers who did not receive THR or a company did not comply with the THR payment rules, so they were welcome to report to the post that had been prepared by the provincial government.

In fact, Uu also welcomes anyone who wants to complain directly to him about the THR issue.

"If necessary, it's okay to complain to me right away, I will follow up," he said.

Head of the West Java Province Manpower and Transmigration Office, Rahmat Taufik Garsadi, added that the THR payment that must be made by the company is one time the amount of salary given every month.

The limit on giving THR, he said, is seven days before Lebaran, if it doesn't comply with the rules, it will be subject to sanctions, one of which is a 5 percent fine, there is also a sanction for reducing production, up to sanctions for revocation of business licenses.

"Until now, we are still conducting guidance and giving advice. After entering the D-7 Lebaran, we will check whether it is because we are unable or for other reasons," said Rahmat.
