He explained that the arrest of the suspect was carried out by the Opsnal Team Unit 2 Sub-Directorate 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police starting from public information about the distribution of methamphetamine, which the suspect allegedly carried out in Sampara Village.

He explained that six packages of methamphetamine ready to be distributed in plastic bags were found tucked between the bed and the wall in the suspect's room.

From the results of the interrogation, the suspect admitted that the illicit goods were obtained from someone in Kendari City. "Furthermore, the team brought the suspect and the confiscated evidence to the Head of the Directorate of Drug Investigation for further investigation," he said.

The suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of death penalty/life imprisonment or imprisonment for a minimum of five years and a maximum of 20 years.
