Regional Secretary Markus: Everyone Who Comes To Biak Feels Comfortable

BIAK - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Biak Regency, Numfor Markus Mansnembra, acknowledged that Biak Regency is one of the 29 regencies/cities in Papua Province that is the safest and most conducive to supporting development programs.

"The Biak situation is safe, it has always been a place for government activities and professional organizations such as the Bank Indonesia Discussion Group Forum and the Central Bureau of Statistics for Papua. In the future, it is hoped that more activities will be carried out in Biak," said Regional Secretary Markus Mansnembra in Biak, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 18th.

He hopes that the conducive situation in Biak must always be maintained together with the community, security forces, and government officials, and other stakeholders.

"Every person or guest from outside the area who comes feels comfortable to enjoy the natural beauty of Biak Island," said Secretary of Regional Secretary Markus.

Sekda Markus invited the residents of Biak Numfor to continue to create a conducive security and safe situation and maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the local city.

Meanwhile, Head of the Biak Islamic Holiday Committee (PHBI) Andi Firman Madjadi admitted that Biak Numfor residents always participate in maintaining tolerant relations in Muslim religious activities.

"Togetherness, comfort, and upholding the spirit of religious tolerance continue to be carried out by Biak Numfor residents," said Andi.

He hopes that the Biak Numfor situation which is always safe, comfortable, and full of peace will strengthen the spirit of tolerance in inter-religious life.

"The support of the police is also very real in helping to secure the implementation of the tarawih prayer in congregation in Ramadhan 1443 Hijriah in various mosques to securing the Eid prayer," he said.
