JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno predicts that the number of homecomers who will travel during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday momentum will reach 85.5 million people.

Of this figure, Sandiaga said about 60 percent of them are expected to travel to various tourist destinations in the region.

"Around 48-56 million are domestic tourists who will go to tourist attractions in the region," said Sandiaga in a written statement, Wednesday, April 13.

Sandiaga said that the travelers who were on vacation during the 2022 Eid momentum would be one of the breakthroughs for the recovery of tourism and the creative economy (parekraf).
