Mayor Of Gibran Ensures BLT Distribution Is Completed Before Eid

SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka ensured that the distribution of direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil was completed before Eid 2022.

"The BLT has been sorted out, earlier in Banjarsari District, tomorrow in all urban villages," he said in Solo, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 12.

He said the BLT receipts would be completed before Idul Fitri. Regarding this, his party has coordinated with the Post Office.

"Before Lebaran, you have to be able to receive everything, later if there is data that is scattered, it can be distributed," he said.

Regarding BLT for street vendors (PKL), Gibran said, it will be carried out in the near future. "Later, yes, later it won't be finished (I will finish it), don't worry," he said.

Previously, the Executive General Manager of PT Pos Indonesia Surakarta Main Branch Office, Lilik Suryono, said that the distribution of aid this time was targeted at 36,864 targets. He said the disbursement at the Surakarta Post Office was carried out on Monday (11/4) and Tuesday (12/4). Meanwhile, starting on Wednesday (14/4) the distribution will be carried out in a number of target villages.

"In addition to this office, further distribution will be carried out in each village," he said.

Deputy Mayor of Surakarta Teguh Prakosa said the Surakarta City Government had coordinated with the Post Office for a door-to-door distribution mechanism if the relevant beneficiary was unable to attend when the disbursement was made.

"I think it's enough to lighten their load considering the high oil price up to now," he said.
