Police Investigate Case Of Slaughtered Woman While Going To Pasar Minggu Mosque

JAKARTA - The police are still investigating the stabbing case experienced by Khamidah (51) in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 7.

The Head of the Criminal Unit (Reskim) of the Pasar Minggu Police, Iptu Sofyan Suri, said the perpetrators were not local residents. This is based on the statement of the victim who claimed not to recognize the perpetrator.

"It might happen (the perpetrators are not local residents). The exact motive is not yet and we are still investigating," he said.

Sofyan admitted that his party still did not know the identity of the perpetrator. Because the evidence of CCTV footage at the crime scene (TKP) is not active or dead.

"There are (tagged recordings), there are also CCTVs that are either dead or inactive," he explained.

Previously it was reported that Khamidah, a middle-aged mother who was stabbed by an unknown person (OTK) admitted that she was traumatized. Even so, he still ventured out of the house.

"I feel afraid every time I see a motorbike, it's called after the incident, I'm afraid," said Khamidah when she was met, Friday, April 8.

Khamidah revealed that she saw the face of the man who approached her. But at that time, she had no negative thoughts of being hurt or hacked.

She thought the man was just asking for an address. But as he approached, it turned out that the man actually took out a sickle from inside his jacket, and immediately slashed it.

"He suddenly unzipped his jacket, after that he took out a sickle. I shouted 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. But he hasn't been abused. I immediately took a prayer rug to cover his neck. He attacked me. (back) and here (left temple). I screamed, please," said Khamidah remembering the night of the incident.

Luckily, there was a Tegal stall (warteg) containing 7-9 people across the street, so the perpetrator immediately fled. Khamidah was rushed to the hospital by local residents.

"There were nine more people at dawn at the warteg, I was taken by car and immediately taken to Pasar Minggu Hospital. On the seven fingers, the stitches on the back are a bit long, they took a long time to sew on the temples. I don't know how many stitches," she said.
