TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Metro Police are still investigating the alleged theft of three dogs by a woman with the initials Christine.

"In response to the chaos related to animal theft that occurred in the jurisdiction of the Cipondoh Police, the process is still ongoing," said Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Komarudin, Monday, April 4.

Regarding the complaint from the Cipondoh Police to the Tangerang Metro Police Propam, Komarudin considered it only a point of view from the alleged perpetrator.

"In the process so far, various opinions have been debated, including from the reported party, so please feel free to have an opinion according to your point of view," he said.

Therefore, his party will examine whether it fulfills the criminal element or not. If it is not proven later, the case will be terminated.

"We see that it belongs to someone who was brought by the suspect. Investigators are moving according to the evidence of the facts that are available from there, we will dig or search. If it does not meet the criminal element, we will stop it," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a woman named Christine in Cipondoh, Tangerang, did not accept that she was accused of stealing three huskies and a golden retriever. Christine reported the head of the Cipondoh Police to the Tangerang Police, recently.

Christine explained, that the three dogs were infected in the eye and injured in the body. In fact, said Christine, the husky was already limping.

"I took the initiative as a human, I feel sorry to see the dog dried in the sun, I immediately took it to the doctor. Instead of bringing it home, I immediately took it to the doctor, X-rayed, blood checked, complete," said Christine, Monday, April 4.

Christine admitted that she had been waiting for the dog's owner, but was not seen by her.

"I tried to wait for the owner, but he didn't come. I also saw that the dog's condition was already severe, had wounds on elbows, and urine was bleeding from infection," said Christine.

Because she couldn't bear to see this condition, Christine continued, she took the initiative to take the dog to a veterinarian for specialist treatment.

"So, as a human, I feel sorry for seeing a dog like that. So I took the initiative to take the dog to be treated," she said

But her good intentions actually made her deal with the police. She was accused of stealing.

"Suddenly today I was even approached by the police to be arrested, even though I didn't steal. What's unfortunate is why the police are blaming me," she said.

After receiving unpleasant treatment and allegations of misuse of procedures, her party reported the Cipondoh Police to the Tangerang Metro Police Propam.
