JAMBI - A total of 7.7 kilograms of methamphetamine caught by the Jambi Regional Police's Narcotics Directorate during January-March 2022 was destroyed at the black field of the Jambi Police Headquarters, Friday, March 1.
The Jambi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police A Rachmad Wibowo said the meth evidence was secured by the Jambi Police's Narcotics Directorate from the hands of 13 suspects suspected of being drug dealers who were arrested from various locations.
There are 13 suspects from 12 cases. The suspects consisted of 12 men and one woman, with evidence of 7.7 kg of methamphetamine.
"Of the total evidence that was secured by members in the field as much as 7.7 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 13 suspects were also arrested, one of which was a woman," said Rachmad Wibowo accompanied by the Director of Drug Research at the Jambi Police, Commissioner-Police (Kombes Pol) Thomas Panji Susbandaru, quoted from Antara.
The 7.7 kg methamphetamine evidence that was destroyed was estimated to be worth IDR 10 billion. From the results of the confiscation for three months, his party managed to save 38 thousand lives from the influence of these drugs.
