Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih: Every Soldier Should Never Make Any Minor Violations

MIMIKA - Commander of Regional Military (Pangdam) XVII/Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Teguh Muji Angkasa accompanied by the Head of Persit KCK Region XVII carried out a social service distributing food aid to residents at Kodim 1710 and Denkav-3/SC Mimika.

Deputy Commander of Regional Military (Wakapendam) XVII/Cenderawasih Lt. Col. Inf. Candra Kurniawan in a written statement received at Mimika, Wednesday, March 30, explained that during the visit the Commander of the XVII/Cenderawasih military also gave directions to soldiers and Persit at Denkav-3/SC Mimika.

Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih said Regional Military Command (Kodam) XVII/Cenderawasih will continue to improve professionalism as a soldier and become a friend who is loved by the people as well as improve discipline and obey the rules.

"Every Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih soldier should never make the slightest violation because it will have a negative impact on both himself and the TNI institutions, on the contrary his presence must be a solution in overcoming the difficulties of the people wherever they serve," said Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih as quoted by Antara.

With the increasing use of social media, Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih advised that we are currently in the digital era and it is impossible for everything to be separated from technology.

"We must be wise in using it and must be able to distinguish between what is good and what is bad in the use of social media," ordered the Commander of the XVII/Cenderawasih Military Command.

Meanwhile, after the briefing, the Military Commander XVII/Cenderawasih and his entourage left for Nabire District to carry out a working visit at Kodim 1705/NBR, Infantry Battalion RK 753/AVT, Denzipur 12/OHH, and Social Services at the Kalibobo Difable Foundation.
