338,823 Kupang City Residents Have Been Vaccinated Against COVID-19

KUPANG - The Kupang City Health Office, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) said 338,823 residents had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination to prevent transmission of the Coronavirus.

"Based on data received from the Health Service, Kupang City residents who have received the first dose of vaccination have reached 338,823", said a spokesman for the Kupang City COVID-19 Task Force, Ernest Ludji in Kupang, Tuesday, March 29.

According to him, the achievement of the first dose of vaccination was 338,823 people (101.56 percent) or exceeding the target of 333,628 mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.

Meanwhile, the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination has been carried out on 266,956 target people, or 80.02 percent.

Ernest Ludji explained that the increasing achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in Kupang City was because the community was very enthusiastic about vaccinating.

"Including the group of teenagers and children, they have a significant contribution in increasing the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in Kupang City", said Ernest Ludji as quoted by Antara.

According to him, the Kupang City government continues to encourage the people of the area to vaccinate both the first, second, and booster doses so that they can protect themselves from exposure to the Coronavirus.

"The Kupang City Government continues to provide COVID-19 vaccination services so that people have adequate body immunity to catching exposure to the Coronavirus which is currently still being found in Kupang City", said Ernest Ludji.
