JAKARTA - Pulogadung Sector firefighters evacuated the body of a 91-year-old grandmother from the second floor of her house on Jalan Daksinapati, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Monday, March 28.

The evacuation was carried out after the family was unable to lower it because the body of the elderly named Habibah Daud had a large body.

Using a stretcher, the Pulogadung Sector firefighters evacuated the grandmother's body. Slowly, officers tried to lower the body from the second floor to the first floor of his house.

The problem occurred when the officers found the narrow access to the stairs which made it a little difficult for the officers. Even so, the officers managed to evacuate.

The head of the Bandung Damkar Gadung Platoon Group, Hery Widy, said the evacuation was carried out after reports from residents that the family was unable to lower the elderly body to the first floor.

"The evacuation process lasted for 30 minutes by deploying 12 firefighters," he told reporters, Monday, March 28.

After successfully evacuated, the family immediately washed the body. As is known, Grandmother Habibah died of illness on Monday, March 28, at around 03.00 WIB in the morning.
