JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) won five awards at the 2022 Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA), which was organized by the Indonesian PR agency.

The five awards are Silver Winner for the BUMN category, KAI Pay Profile Video Sub-category, Bronze Winner for the BUMN category, KAI My KAI Profile Video Sub-category, Bronze Winner for the SOE category, Social Media Sub-category, Bronze Winner for the SOE category, E-Magazine Sub-category, and Bronze Winner for the category of SOEs in the Application Sub-Category.

"KAI expresses its gratitude to PR Indonesia for the award given. This achievement will further motivate us to continue to improve the company's public relations performance in order to support KAI's vision and mission," said KAI VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus in a statement monitored in Jakarta, Sunday as reported by Antara.

Joni explained that there were two KAI profile videos that received awards, namely KAI Pay and Saya KAI.

The KAI Pay video shows the advantages of the KAIPay digital wallet as an alternative payment method in the KAI Access application. Through KAIPay, payment transactions will be more practical because customers do not need to switch applications from ticket booking to payment.

The second video is Saya KAI, which shows the profile of the Train Travel Management (PPKA) officer. The video shows one of the PPKA officers who briefly tells about his work and family support so that he works with passion to serve customers.

In the Social Media sub-category, KAI conducted a campaign program on Twitter entitled Jabodebek LRT Synergy for the Country and on Instagram entitled Vaccination with KAI, Rising Together with the Country.

This is done by KAI as one of the communication programs through social media to publish the Jabodebek LRT as a national strategic program as well as KAI's support for the national vaccination program.

As for the E-Magazine sub-category, KAI's internal media, Kontak, in the August 2021 edition, was chosen as the winner. The edition that was published on the momentum of the Indonesian Independence Day, KAI raised the title of KAI for Indonesia Resilient and Growing.

Meanwhile, in the application sub-category, KAI presents the PPID KAI application that can be used by the public since early August 2021.
