General Sigit: Police Continue To Develop Digital-Based Services

SURABAYA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized that his institution will continue to develop digital-based services. This is done in order to provide easy service to the community.

"In the future, we will continue to develop digital-based services for the convenience of the community," said Sigit in a written statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Sunday, March 27.

This was also conveyed by Sigit when closing the technical work meeting (Rakernis) of the Police Logistics and the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Police in Surabaya, East Java.

"We are also developing a smart city concept that is integrated with the system at the Police Command Center. Then it is integrated with services in local governments, hospitals, and other services related to policymakers," explained Sigit.

The former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police said that with the integration of these services, all stakeholders are expected to provide fast services.

Sigit appreciates the relevant stakeholders, both regional heads, BUMN, and other institutions who have assisted in developing the national electronic traffic law enforcement or ETLE system because it is the police's flagship program.

In the future, Sigit said, his party will continue to develop community compliance on the highway and how to reduce the risk of accidents that result in fatality of victims.

Sigit also hopes that the ETLE program and digital-based services can continue to be developed, so that the accident rate decreases and the service is getting better according to people's expectations.

Regarding the Logistics Working Meeting, Sigit emphasized the issue of '7 Right' in the process of procuring goods and services. The '7 Right' are the right quantity, right time, right quality or right quality, right price, right use or right use, right place, and right type.

"You must pay attention to the 7 things so that goods/services can be used effectively and appropriately and encourage the optimal implementation of Polri's duties," Sigit said.

Sigit emphasized that the Slog Police ranks must also oversee government policies regarding increasing the use of domestic production (P3DN).

According to him, the current focus of the Government is to accelerate economic growth by encouraging the use of domestic products.
