Having Been Absent, The Criminal Investigation Police Of The National Police Schedules The Second Examination Of 'Teacher' Indra Kenz

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes, Bareskrim Polri, has scheduled a second summons to investigate Fakar Suhartami Pratama next week.

Fakar is said to be the 'teacher' or mentor of a fraudulent investment suspect under the guise of Binomo trading, Indra Kenz.

"Next week (scheduled for inspection, ed)," said Head of Sub-Directorate II of the Criminal Investigation Department, Kombes Candra Sukma Kumara to VOI, Saturday, March 26.

However, it was not explained in detail about the days in the inspection schedule.

Candra said that the man known as Fakarich did not fulfill the summons for the first examination on Monday, March 21. He said his absence was for no apparent reason.

"Just once (call for inspection, ed) but did not come," said Chandra.

Fakar Suhartami Pratama is reportedly Indra Kenz's mentor or teacher. He is said to have taught Crazy Rich Medan to become an affiliate.

"(Mentor Indra Kenz, ed) the information is Fakar," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan.

In fact, Fakar is also suspected of being the person who taught Indra Kenz to eliminate evidence, including cellphones and transfer balances to other accounts so that they cannot be traced.

"Maybe yes, we can't conclude directly, yes," he said.

Meanwhile, Indra Kenz has been named a suspect in the fraudulent investment case under the guise of Binomo trading. A number of assets have also been confiscated with a nominal value of IDR 55 billion.

In this case, Indra Kenz is accused of Article 45 paragraph 1 juncto 28 of Law 19 of 2016 concerning ITE. Then, Article 378 of the Criminal Code on fraud.

There is also Law No. 8 of 2010 concerning money laundering offences. The application of this article is an effort to impoverish the perpetrators of criminal acts so that there is a deterrent effect.
