KNPI In Chaos, General Chairman And Secretary General Are Repoted Regarding Defamation And Fake News

JAKARTA - The General Chairman and Secretary-General of the KNPI Umar Bonte and Ahmad Fauzan were officially reported to the Metro Jaya Police. They are suspected of having carried out defamation and spreading false news.

The reporting party, in this case, is Fahd El Fouz Arafiq who is the former General Chair of the KNPI.

"Reporting Ahmad Fauzan and Umar Bonte for defamation through electronic media and false reports to the authorities and/or defamation and/or slander," Fahd told reporters, Monday, March 21.

The allegation of defamation began when the two reported parties held an extraordinary congress. So, Fadh tried to find out about these activities.

Fahd also communicated with the two reported to ask them to come to his office. Umar Bonte and Ahmad Fauzan also came without coercion.

However, both of them said that Fahd had kidnapped him. In fact, under these conditions and circumstances, it was impossible for Fahd to kidnap the two reported persons.

"I was in the car, if I kidnapped them, I will be strangled. I was driving myself. Behind me were Andreas and Umar Bonte," he said.

"If I kidnap him, we are in jammed traffic, he would just strangle me if I abuse him. His body is bigger than mine. This is being politicized, they want to climb by using my name," he continued.

With the accusation of the kidnappers, Fadh also reported the two. The report is registered with the number STTLP/B/1455/III/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Fauzan had reported Fahd El Fouz Arafiq to the Metro Jaya Police. The report relates to acts of beatings and kidnappings.

Fauzan reported on Fahd on Sunday, March 20. The report was registered in the LP numbered LP/B/1439/III/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.
