AMBON - Head of the Industry and Trade Office (Kadisperindag) of Ambon City, Maluku Sirjohn Slarmanat said that the stock of various basic needs in Ambon City such as cooking oil, granulated sugar, rice, flour and chicken eggs is guaranteed to be safe for the next three months.

"We are monitoring several distributors and directly checking their warehouses, for the position of cooking oil stocks in Ambon city since March 15, 2022, the stock position is 476 thousand liters more," said the Head of Industry and Trade of Ambon City, Sirjohn Slarmanat in Ambon, Antara, Monday. , March 21.

For the city of Ambon, if it is assumed that the population and then the existing stock is 400 thousand per liter, in a day 0.01 liters can be used. so that the city of Ambon still has enough stock to meet the needs of the next 100 days or approximately three months.

"In fact, there will be more from the wholesaler, approximately 6,000 liters. It will even be supplied from the factory to increase stock. But in reality we have safe stock for the next three months,” he explained.

In addition, he continued, for other basic needs, namely rice stocks, 2,536 tons are still available and around 3,000 tons will come in.

"For the stock of wheat flour, we have a stock position, according to Sirjohn, the stock resistance is still 2,809 tons.

"And the flour for the next 176 days is still safe," he said.

Sirjohn said, there are still 62,412 eggs available for broiler chickens and 46 thousand will be added.

"Then for marjan syrup, canned milk, and chicken meat, we have an average stock that is still safe. Of the 20 distributors in Ambon city, yes, for basic needs, they are still available to meet the needs of the residents," he said.

He also revealed that the last stock of granulated sugar was 829 tons.

"And about 73 tons will come in again. Yes, sugar stocks can still last up to 139 days. From our estimation calculations, it means that the next three months are still safe," he said.

He said that the people of Ambon City were more interested in KBA sugar than 'Gulaku' sugar, while my sugar stock was still more. "And for KBA sugar, the price is still stable at Rp. 14 thousand/kg, the lowest and Rp. 15 thousand to the highest price," he said.
