JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said face-to-face learning (PTM) will return to a capacity of 100 percent of students in the near future.

"God willing, yes, soon (the implementation of PTM is 100 percent), we will see," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, March 21.

Riza said the implementation of the 100 percent PTM, which had previously been implemented for one month at the beginning of 2021, was being evaluated.

There is also a consideration that 100 percent PTM can be re-applied due to the easing of restrictions on public transportation. Currently, public transportation modes are allowed to carry passengers with a capacity of 100 percent at Level 2 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

"So far, many have 100 percent, including public transportation. PTM is being discussed, discussed, and evaluated," said Riza.

It is known, 50 percent PTM has been implemented since February 7, 2022, until now. Thus, the method of implementing learning is through blended learning, namely learning in class and learning online.

In a week, PTM is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meanwhile, on Tuesday and Thursday, disinfectant was sprayed throughout the school environment.

In Level 2 PPKM, the central government gives discretion to regional heads whose districts/cities apply Level 2 PPKM to implement PTM with a capacity of 100 percent or 50 percent.

However, not all regions need to limit PTM to 50 percent. For Level 2 PPKM areas that are ready to implement Limited PTM in accordance with the Decree of the Four Ministers and the spread of COVID-19 is under control, schools in these areas can still implement Limited PTM with 100 percent student capacity.
