Meeting Gibran, Mangkunegran Supports Surakarta City Government To Develop Tourism Sector

SOLO - Pura Mangkunegaran is ready to support the Surakarta City Government in developing the regional tourism sector according to its role as a cultural center.

"How in the future, we can support. Solo as a city of culture and as one of the cultural centers in Solo is in us, Mangkunegaran," said Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Arya (KGPAA) Mangkunegara X at Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta as reported by Antara, Monday, March 21.

In this regard, his party is currently drafting a concept for long-term development. However, short-term development has also begun to be considered, namely making improvements in terms of tourism.

"We use the first two months from Mangkunegaran to finalize our concept going forward. For how we develop tourism content little by little," he said.

Regarding the strengthening of the concept, his party immediately synchronized the narrative and added content based on better research. Furthermore, the content can be presented to visitors who come to Mangkunegaran Temple for a tour.

On the other hand, he also hopes that in the future, Mangkunegaran Temple can be closer to the people of Solo City and can be part of the residents' activities.

"How can Pamedan (the front of the Mangkunegaran Temple) become a center of activity, it can become an event center. So in the future, the Pamedan area will be more open," he said.

Meanwhile, Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that he had leaked pictures and photos of the Gatot Subroto and Ngarsopuro corridor arrangement plans to Adipati Mangkunegara X.

"Because after all the mind of attraction will be at the Mangkunegaran Temple, I ask for permission and input from Gusti Bhre so that the construction and revitalization of the Gatot Subroto and Ngarsopuro corridors can synergize with Mangkunegaran," he said.

Moreover, he said, regarding the appointment of the City of Solo as the host of the Working Group which was part of the G20 event in Bali, it was also an opportunity to introduce Mangkunegaran to foreign guests.

"Later there will be a royal dinner here, because this is a very extraordinary venue. Hopefully, this destination can really make the people of Solo proud," he said.
