Two Nightclubs In South Tangerang Were Raided, One Person Tested Positive For Drugs, Alcohol Bottles Were Confiscated

TANGSEL - South Tangerang Police have sealed off two nightlife venues Sky Lounge and Blackbee Bar & Lounge in the Kelapa Dua area, Tangerang Regency. Both were sealed due to exceeding operating hours.

"It was sealed because there were violations exceeding operating hours and the sale of unlicensed alcoholic beverages," said South Tangerang Police Narcotics Head AKP Amantha Wijaya when confirmed, Wednesday, March 16.

In addition to sealing, his party also checked the urine of visitors and employees of the two entertainment venues. The results found one positive end for amphetamine and methamphetamine.

"At Blackbee Bar & Lounge, as many as 35 people, both employees and visitors, were tested for urine. The results were negative," he said.

"(Meanwhile) for the second place in the Sky Lounge, as many as 57 people from employees and visitors, there is one person who is positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine," he added.

Amantha said that his party carried out raids in the context of operations to create conditions for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and implementing level 2 community activity restrictions (PPKM).

In addition, his party also confiscated several bottles of liquor (alcohol) from the two places.

"There are dozens of bottles of alcohol that we confiscated from these two places. Both places have been lined up by the police (sealed)," he said.
