MEDAN - The Department of Communication and Information of the City of Medan, North Sumatra, explained a work plan to install around 20,000 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) points or digital video cameras by 2023.

"We support the Medan Mayor's program regarding Medan Satu Data and Medan 20,000 CCTV," said Medan City Communications and Informatics Agency Head Arrahman Pane as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 15.

The CCTV installation, he continued, is in line with the vision and mission of the City of Medan, namely the vision of realizing a blessed, advanced and conducive society in the capital city of North Sumatra Province.

Meanwhile, the mission is in the Clean Field, which is to create social justice through a clean, professional, accountable, and transparent bureaucracy based on the spirit of serving the community.

Therefore, it is necessary to refine the work plan of the Medan City Communications and Informatics Service in 2023 by asking for input and suggestions from relevant OPD representatives and stakeholders.

"We need input and suggestions from colleagues, especially Bappeda so that our work program is getting better, especially the Medan Satu Data program," said Arrahman.

Previously, the Medan City Communications and Informatics Service had held an OPD forum by bringing together his party and several other related OPDs and also being followed by stakeholders.

This was done to discuss, and at the same time synchronize the work plan of the Medan City Communication and Informatics Service in 2023.
