West Java Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, said that hundreds of witnesses were examined, starting from being questioned to being interrogated.
"We formed a team consisting of the West Java Police and Subang Police investigators. So far, we have examined 118 witnesses", Ibrahim said in Bandung, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 14.
According to him, the investigation has also involved several experts, ranging from facial sketchers, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) experts, mental health experts, forensic medicine, to experts in the use of K9 (sniffer dogs).
In addition, up to seven months since the alleged murder case, there are now at least 200 pieces of evidence being examined by the police.
Hundreds of pieces of evidence examined were items found at the scene or elsewhere.
"And there are several more TKP-TKP (the crime scene) that we have done further investigations. In the future, we will investigate several more witnesses", he explained.
