JAKARTA - Ukrainian media The Kyiv Independent released the number of Russian war equipment that had been destroyed and captured by Ukrainian troops. In the banner entitled Russia's losses, which are summarized from the estimated records of the Ukrainian defense agency as of March 8, there were 48 warplanes, 80 helicopters, 303 tanks, 120 artillery pieces, 56 missile launchers, and several other Russian combat equipment. In the release, The Kyiv Independent also said Russia had lost more than 12,000 paratroopers. However, it is affixed with a note, if it is still in confirmation. The release comes after heavy fighting between Russian and Ukrainian troops in the north and west of the capital Kyiv, Monday, March 7 morning. President Volodymyr Zelensky released Kyiv's condition after the battle.
