JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto said that his party had yet to determine who the sponsors were for the implementation of Formula E.

However, Widi emphasized that the determination of the sponsors to be accepted would be announced in the near future.

"There is no fixed (sponsor) yet. However, we will announce it in the near future," Widi told reporters, Sunday, March 6.

Widi admitted that the DKI Provincial Government cannot accept sponsors arbitrarily even though they have received offers. This is because every sponsor received must be consulted with Formula E Operation (FEO).

Bearing in mind, FEO as the license holder of Formula E has arrangements regarding the selection of sponsors for this electric car racing event.

"The sponsors must also consult with FEO. Maybe there are sponsors from them, then there are also some advertisements related to electric vehicles that they (FEO) don't want, there are some that are indeed banned for Formula E," explained Widi.

On that occasion, Widi also revealed that Formula E ticket sales will be opened this month. Ticket prices range from hundreds of thousands to millions of rupiah.

"Around March we launched. There have been a lot of requests (to buy tickets)," said Widi.

For information, currently working on the Formula E circuit has reached 52 percent. The construction of the track was carried out by PT Jaya Konstruksi using the Jakpro company's budget of Rp. 60 billion.
