BEKASI - A total of three road points on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will be repaired starting tonight until next week in order to increase the safety and comfort of road users as well as efforts to improve the minimum service standards of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk.

"There will be no road closures during the work. The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road sections towards Jakarta and Cikampek are operating normally," said General Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division Muhammad Taufik Akbar, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 4.

Taufik explained that the first rigid pavement reconstruction work was carried out at the On Ramp Interchange Karawang Barat 2 lane 1 in the direction of Jakarta with a handling length of 38 meters starting tonight at 21.00 WIB until Sunday (6/3) at 22.00 WIB.

The next work will be at Kilometer (KM) 24+185 to KM 24+730 on the outer shoulder of the Cikampek route with a handling length of 330 meters which is scheduled to start Saturday (5/3) at 22.00 WIB until Wednesday, March 9 at 17.00 WIB.

The third location is at KM 32+919 to KM 32+816 lane 1 lane towards Jakarta with a handling length of 103 meters which will be held on Monday, March 7 at 10.00 WIB until Saturday (12/3) at 10.00 WIB.

Jasa Marga has prepared risk mitigation including diverting the affected flow before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing counterclockwise and reversible substations if traffic conditions are heavy, as well as coordinating with the Highway Patrol (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO).

Jasa Marga also disseminates the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of job warning banners and Variable Message Signs on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Cikampek and Jakarta to ensure this information is well received by road users.
